I received the Revlon Mega Multiplier in the recent Voxbox Influenster campaign in Blackest Brown.
First of all, I didn’t really like the fact that I got blackest brown since I normally use the blackest black for my mascara as I prefer it since I have really light eyelashes.
I did have to put on a lot of lawyer for the mascara to give me as much volume as I like and to get my lashes to really stand out. The want was really good as separating my individual lashes and coating them, but you really had to lay on the mascara in order for it to give you some half way decent volume to your lashes. Again, I have thin and light eyelashes, so this was even more so for me.
Here are my results with the mascara and quite a few lawyers (about 15?). I didn’t find it running down my face at the end of the day, and it stayed on my lashes.
I did find that when I went to wash my face at night, it would wash off in big flaky chunks that would stick to my skin when washing my face, something I didn’t particularly like.
I do curl my lashes and found that, like most mascara’s I use, my lashes didn’t keep the curl that well with this mascara, but still pretty good.
Overall, I did like this mascara, and I would give it a 4/5. I would try it in the blackest black and buy it myself to give myself another chance, but I do prefer my good old Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara to this.
I didn’t mind the blackest brown to give my mascara a different day time look, but I do prefer blackest black to give myself more volume and showing my lashes better.
Again, I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.
