  • Where have I been?!

Hello anyone who sometimes checks in on this space! Man, have the last couple of months have been a whirlwind! Let me catch you up to speed.

I got a full-time job. It’s at a really great company, the people I work with are great, and there are opportunities to grow and learn. I’m excited about this next step. So nervous with a lot of it, and it is stressful being unsure of yourself and hoping you don’t mess something up since you are still in the process of learning.

I am still working part-time at Starbucks. My student loans are looming with having to start repaying them back. I work two jobs to help supplement the income I’m making to put more money towards student debt.

I bought a car! I know I was going to wait a while before I bought a new car, so I could pay down my debt, but I was at the stage in my life where I’m sick of relying on someone else to take me to point A or B, the buses in this town always being late due to construction and detours, as well as not feeling independent. The first month I was working both jobs, I had to get picked up from my Starbucks shift every time I closed on a weekend, or else I wouldn’t get home until 12pm! Pretty late for working two jobs.

I’ve had zero time. Well, maybe not zero, but a lot less time. I’m trying to connect with friends again, trying to find out what to do now that I am not a student anymore, and find time to learn and grown myself. I’m trying to get into a good spot and mindset in my life, and I’ve been having some setbacks. I’m trying really hard to get some stuff sorted out health-wise to hopefully start seeing some changes overall.

What’s next? Please keep an eye out on this space! I’m trying to get back into the swing of things, I’ve got some reviews to write, and hopefully I can schedule some time to keep up a consistent schedule. I’ve been itching to write again, and I know I need to keep it up :).

I hope everyone is having a great start to their holidays! Please let me know if there is some things I’ve missed out on 🙂

    What do you think?
