  • October Book Haul

    October 22nd, 2015 | Posted in : Uncategorized | 2 Comments »

This month has been crazy busy! It’s coming to an end for my first ‘semester’, with exams happening next week.

However, my favorite author released a new novel so of course I had to go out and grab it! This is this months book haul!

Kelley Armstrong just so happens to be a relatively close/local author to my area and I absolutely cannot get enough of her books! I didn’t realize she had another book recently come out in a novella format and had to pick that one up as well.

J.K. Rowling’s pseudonym as Galbraith has definitely made me very interested in these novels. I like a good mystery/crime fiction novel and can’t wait to share with you guys my opinion on this series!

I ALMOST picked up the Twilight 10th Anniversary edition since it was on sale at Chapters, but I opted to let my mom get it for me as a Christmas present since she has a hard time with finding things for me since I am so far away. There are quite a few others at the moment I really want to go purchase, but my work was closed for the week and I feel as though I should utilize the public library around here soon.

Did you have any good book purchases this month? Or did you have another haul (like makeup) that you decided to spend that nice, cold, hard earned cash on? Let me know what you think!

    What do you think?

I’m still trying to get through Dark Places by Gillian Flynn and Freakonomics. After those two, I’m hopefully going to start on The Cuckoo’s Calling.

    • Kayla says:

I liked Dark Places but it took me a while to get into versus Sharp Objects which I really enjoyed! Freakonomics, I’ll definitely have to look into! Once you start The Cuckoo’s Calling, I would love to know your opinion on it! I’m probably going to start it this weekend! Let me know what you think of Dark Places!
